Frequently asked questions.
How do I get started?
Typically, we begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation. This initial meeting allows me to assess whether my skills align with your needs and allows you to assess if we would work well together.
Following this, we’ll schedule a 60-90 minute intake session to evaluate your needs in more detail.
How long are sessions?
As stated above, our first appointment will be an intake session which is typically 60-90 minutes.
After that, sessions are typically 45-60 minutes in length.
What’s the cost?
Individual therapy: $175
Individual intake: $200
Do you accept insurance?
I currently accept Aetna insurance. For all other plans, I would be considered an an out-of-network (OON) provider. This means you pay for appointments upfront and, if your insurance plan includes OON benefits, your insurance will reimburse you a percentage of the cost.
To make the process as seamless as possible, I’ve partnered with Mentaya, a trusted service that simplifies out-of-network reimbursement. Mentaya ensures my clients receive the reimbursements they’re entitled to while minimizing the stress of navigating insurance claims.
How Does Mentaya Work?
Pay Upfront for Sessions: Clients pay for sessions at the time of service.
Receive a Superbill: I provide a superbill—a detailed receipt with all the necessary information for your insurance company.
Mentaya Handles the Rest: Mentaya submits claims on your behalf, tracks reimbursements, and ensures you receive what you are owed from your insurance provider.
